SCDSB maintenance and operations staff have been accessing school sites to determine the impact of the ice storm on our facilities.
As a result, it has been determined that schools in the Central and North Zones will remain closed to students on Tuesday April 1st. In addition, Clearview Meadows ES and Stayner Collegiate Institute will also remain closed.
All other SCDSB schools in the South and West Zones will open to students on Tuesday April 1st and the before and after programs at those schools will operate as usual. As storm cleanup efforts continue, families are asked to remain cautious of fallen debris and to monitor the status of your bus at www.simcoecountyschoolbus.ca as bus routes may be impacted.
