Read-a-thon on Thursday, January 25, 2018 on Thursday, January 25, 2018<p>​Clearview Meadows Elementary School is pleased to promote literacy by holding our annual Read-a-thon at the school on Thursday, January 25, 2018.  The goal of the Read-a-thon is to promote literacy and to raise funds for our school library.</p><p>It will be PJ Spirit Days as well.  Students are encouraged to wear their pajamas and be prepared to <strong>SNUGGLE UP AND READ</strong><strong>!</strong>  Parents and guardians are encouraged to come and join us for this event.</p><p>Thank you for supporting our students in this event to promote literacy and the love of reading!<br></p>

Scheduled system maintenance - Dec. 29-31 system maintenance - Dec. 29-31<p>​Please be advised that the Simcoe County District School Board (SCDSB) is performing planned maintenance on its network and systems <strong>between 5 p.m. on Dec. 29, 2017 and 5 a.m. on Dec. 31, 2017</strong><strong>.</strong> <strong>The SCDSB website, Learning Centres website and school websites will be affected</strong>, with periods of unavailability. </p>
Celebrate Canada Candlelight Walk Canada Candlelight Walk<p>You are invited on Thursday, December 14 from 5:00 –<br>6:00 pm to enjoy a night of singing, warm cider, healthy<br>snacks and a door decoration contest celebrating the Gift<br>of Canada. We are a Gold Certified Eco-School, so we<br>are working to lessen our impact on the Earth. Please<br>bring a reusable mug to enjoy your cider and a reusable<br>plate to take part in the festive, healthy food art.<br>The kindergarten and primary students will meet in the<br>kindergarten yard in front of the library window to sing at<br>5:15 pm. The Junior and Intermediate students will meet<br>at 5:30 pm by the outdoor classroom to sing their song.<br>Students have decorated their classroom doors to<br>illustrate what they have learned about a Canadian<br>territory or province. Vote for your favourite door!<br>We look forward to seeing you there!<br></p>
